Laser Tattoo Removal

How does this work ?

Pigment Reduction

Laser tattoo removal uses high-intensity laser wavelengths to break down th pigment in the tattoo. It is a non-invasive process & black pigment is one of the easiest tattoo colours to treat, but other pigments like: red, black, yellow, pink, purple and oxidised dark blue pigment, can also be treated.

Safe & Effective

We use the Helios III ND-YAG Q-switch laser for tattoo removal, which uses the latest laser technology ensuring a successful and comfortable treatment.

Treatment Plan

During your consultation, one of our therpaists will discuss the options you have, the journey to complete removal of the tattoo & any other information that may apply to you. The treatment plan will depend on factors such as your age, skin type and the size of the tattoo.

What do i need to know ?

Preperation for the treatment

Shave – We recommend that you shave the area 24 hours before.

Sun Exposure – Use SPF 30 or higher and cover the area to be treated if exposed to the sun. No sun exposure for 2 weeks before treatment.

No Tanning – Do not use the sun beds and fake tanning products 2 weeks before your treatment

Care after the treatment

This treatment can cause some mild irritation after your treatment session. Correct aftercare is important as it can help reduce and relieve any irritation on the skin treated.

Use a cold compress to the treated area, avoid  workouts (minimise sweating), avoid sunlight and sun-beds & avoid heat like from a hot shower, sauna or a hot bath.
